ADAP Technician

The Virgin Islands Department of Health is seeking applicants for above part time position. Major responsibilities for this position are as follows:

• ·      Order medication from  pharmaceutical vendor(s)
• ·      Maintain Line item expenditure reports on medication expenditures.
• ·      Responsible for federal required reports
• ·      Monitor contracted pharmacies and medication inventories
• ·      Assist with writing grants
• ·      Data collection and entry of client treatment adherence data
• ·      Conduct training on program policy and procedures
• ·      Updating medication formulary as needed
• ·      Conducting training on program goals and initiatives as needed

Applicants should have a minimum of one year experience as a pharmacy technician and be familiar with prescription drug formularies. The selected candidate will be required to submit three references, one of which must be the pharmacy from which experience was gained.  The selected candidate will also be required to have a valid VI driver’s license and automobile auto insurance.
