ESLC Volunteers Needed

As you are aware, our mission at the ESLC is to bring the promise of integration, security and empowerment to adult immigrants and refugees in Salt Lake County by teaching them the relevant English by recruiting, training, and supervising volunteers to teach these classes.

We are currently looking for 16 volunteers to attend our September training. Since you are a valued community contact, I wanted to reach out to you and ask if you know anybody who would be interested in getting involved with our efforts. If so, please introduce the individual(s) to me in whatever capacity they would feel comfortable with. Please note this also includes extending a warm invitation to exceptionally mature youth who are wanting an enriching, yet challenging, experience. Also, please feel free to send this email out, with the attached volunteer brochure, to your networks.

Our September training will be held 9-12pm on Tuesday 11th, Thursday 13th, Tuesday 18th, and Thursday 20th at the ESLC.

With excitement to get more people plugged into our agency to make a difference,
