National Public Health Week

This week is National Public Health Week! Starting today, April 6, the UPHA Student Assembly is sponsoring a social media competition. Use the hashtags #NPHW2015 and #UtahPHW to show through words or pictures how you, friends, co-workers, and family stay healthy, active, and happy in your community. The top two posts throughout the next week will receive a $50 gift card at the UPHA Conference, April 14-15. See attached for more details. We look forward to seeing your posts!

UPHA Call for Abstracts


The Utah Public Health Association is announcing the CALL FOR ABSTRACTS for the 2014 Conference to be held April 14–16, 2014 at the Utah Valley Convention Center in Provo, Utah. The theme for this year’s conference is “Public Health: Where You Live, Work, and Play.”

All abstracts must be submitted online (via www.upha.org/conference/). You do not have to be a member of UPHA to submit, and we welcome both presentation and poster submissions.

The deadline for abstract submissions is Friday, November 22, 2013 at 11:59pm (MST).
