This position is responsible for managing all the components of the Comprehensive Cancer Control Program, Evidence-Based Colorectal Cancer Screening Program, and the Policy Systems and Environmental Change Program within the Utah Cancer Control Program. Duties including managing grant applications; managing/monitoring and preparing the budget (approx. $1.8 million); managing contracts; ensuring delivery of program services are in compliance with state and federal guidelines; analyzing data to evaluate program successes; creating and monitoring program policies and procedures; evaluating program; facilitating partnerships; and supervising staff. This position manages the day-to day operations of the above programs and reports directly to the Health Program Manager II.

UC-Berkerley Job

The UCB Center for Public Health Practice has launched a new Health Policy Advocacy Initiative. The Initiative is designed to provide students with practical skills, experience and mentorship in health policy advocacy. It is also focused on engaging students and providing technical assistance in health policy change efforts that promote the health of underserved California communities.
